IT'S TRUE - FROM XERO TO HERO! Richard True notched up his first Radical win at Val de Vienne. Richard, who normally runs with the Xero Competition team, joined RSR for the Val de Vienne event and impressed all with his speed and consistency.
Having raced at Val de Vienne a couple of weeks previously in a V de V championship race with his regular co-driver Paul Doran, Richard managed to knock over 2 seconds off his previous laptime during the course of the weekend.
Richard actually finished Race 1 in second position, although a time penalty for missing the pit window dropped him down to 10th place for the start of Race 2. Undeterred Richard drove a fantastic race to win overall, beating the more powerful SR3 cars and the clubsports which did not have to make pitstops.
