Jono and Nigel win Enduro Championship

It went down to the last race of the season but Jono and Nigel came out on top to win the 2003 Enduro Championship.  Lining up behind 4 SR3's in race 1, Nigel drove a tactical first stint leaving Jono to race to the finish keeping Ziad behind him.  Despite a heart-stopping start to Race 2, Nigel emerged from the tyre smoke in P1.  Jono drove the second stint fantastically to win the race outright, neither Ziad or Vergers in a works SR3 could make an impression.  Donington also saw the return of Bob Sands in the SR3.

Duncan misses out on race win

After qualifying P1 by 0.4 seconds, Duncan led the race for the first 7 laps.  A race win looked certain after the departure of Jon Cook who was running P2, when Duncan's fuel pump failed - leaving Adrian Mardlin to finish P2 and Tony Freeman P3.

Starting from the back in race 2 Duncan raced to P6, finishing behind Adrian who had run as high as P2.  Tony finished second.  Donington also saw the return of Adrian Reed.

New RSR Team Member

Unfortunately Royce had to miss the championship deciding race because the newest RSR team member arrived on Sunday evening!  Congratulations to Royce and Kerry and the new baby boy (8 pounds 1oz, or should it be £8.01?!).
