Radical Festival: Cadwell Park (Biduro and Enduro)

The Radical Festival at Cadwell Park on 5/6/7 August 2005 saw the premiere of the unique driver pairing of RSR Team owner Ian ‘Woody’ Woodcock, and club racer Jim Greenfield.  Woodcock had several years’ previous experience racing at Cadwell, but only in national and European kart events.  In fact, he had never raced a car before.  Greenfield had experience in Radical Clubsports, but little time in the recently acquired Prosport, and had never visited Cadwell.

Consistent runs in the weekend’s four 50 minute races, with lap times regularly in the 1:27’s, saw the pair come away with two first in class awards, and two second in class.  Even better were the 7th and 8th places overall, in a strong field of more powerful SR3’s and SR8’s.

Two RSR cars were also entered in the Biduro races, Richard Stables in a Clubsport and Radical regular Rob Croydon enjoying his first race in a SR4.  Richard got down to a very respectable 14th in both races on Sunday and 3rd in class. His 1st ever proper race and first time out with RSR.  Rob got taken out of the 1st race on Sunday but finished P3 in the second.
